First, there's a quick phone screening with HR. Then, you'll have a morning session, either a group or individual test, involving in-store case studies covering management, merchandising, and financial analysis. This is followed by an oral presentation on these cases, evaluating your abilities in management, financial analysis (identifying weaknesses or successes), how you'd handle employee reprimands, and maintaining store cleanliness. Finally, there's a meeting with your future direct manager and their manager.

  • Regarding the store's freshness issues (spoiled produce, bakery mess), what's your approach to discussing it with the employee and ensuring quick, effective action?

Behavioral Case Presentation

I applied online. I had a phone call. Then the recruitment process took 3 weeks between the first and second interviews. First, I had a 10-minute phone call with the HR manager. Then, I had a 1-hour onsite interview to discuss my professional experiences and motivations. Finally, I participated in a half-day assessment at the regional headquarters, with role-playing exercises and case studies. After 1.5 months and several hours spent at their premises, I only received a generic email with no feedback on my follow-up requests. The outcome was very cold and disappointing.
