First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages.
Graduate Trainee
If you make it through the assessment center, you'll usually have a final interview with some of the higher-ups or a group of interviewers. This one is a bit more serious and will dig into your technical know-how, what you've accomplished, and what your long-term career plans are with Coca-Cola. They might also ask you questions about hypothetical situations related to the department you're aiming for.
- Tell me about a time you had to adapt quickly to a major change. What was your response, and what was the outcome?
Sales Associate
I had a 30-minute chat with a District Sales Manager, which was mostly behavioral questions. The DSM did most of the talking, giving good info on the job and company. It felt a bit like a presentation, not a real back-and-forth. I learned a lot about the company culture, but it was hard to ask my own questions. The HR team was slow to respond, which was annoying. The DSM part was good, but HR needs to step up their communication.
- Can you walk me through your sales experience and explain how it's relevant to this role?
Marketing
It was an easy experience, I would do it again, not stressful. There were three stages and all of the people were nice. The HR person took too much time when asking questions on the phone and wasn't responsive enough. Just don't take it too seriously and you will be fine, enjoy.
- Can you tell me about your past work experience?
- What's your attitude like?
- What problems have you solved previously?
Territory Development Manager
I applied online and they called me in for an interview about two weeks later. It was heavily STAR format with two managers and a role play on how you would sell a certain product with one of the managers. They called me a few days later for a last minute interview with one of the same managers and their boss who were one of the directors of the company. It was literally a 10 minute interview and I had to sell him on a product. I received an offer the next day but declined because the salary was lower than expected and there were no negotiations. The position was also not appealing because it was a coverage position where I did not have my own territory. I felt that they just wanted to fill the position immediately instead of trying to find the right talent.
- Can you describe a time you had to handle a difficult customer or colleague?
- How would you approach selling this product?
- Can you sell me this product?
