So I had a good interview experience. It started with a recruiter phone screen, then a phone interview with the head of the west coast. After that, I had a video interview where I spoke with three managers from different LHi brands, but they interviewed me one by one, not as a group. They're really looking for people with natural qualities like motivation and leadership that you can't really learn in school, so just be yourself! The recruiter was super helpful throughout the whole thing. Since I couldn't easily get to the office, they offered for me to chat with people already in the kind of job I'd be doing and ask them anything. I thought that was really cool and showed they're a genuine company. They really encourage you to ask them questions too, it's totally a two-way street.

I applied for the Recruitment Consultant job in NYC on LinkedIn. Pretty soon after, a recruiter reached out to chat about my schooling, work history, career aspirations, and to set up the interviews. It was a 3-step process, including a phone screen and two video interviews. Since I was interviewing from out of state, I was really happy they could accommodate virtual interviews. The recruiter was super helpful through the whole thing. She'd call me before and after each interview, and even in between, to make sure I had everything I needed. She prepped me and was always quick to follow up after interviews. The interviewers were great too – supportive and respectful. They asked good questions and had interesting answers to mine, so it felt more like a friendly chat than a stressful interview. What really stood out was that I was also in the running with another company, and instead of pushing LHi, she helped me think through my priorities and what each company offered. The support I got made my decision easy and I'm excited to start my career at LHi Group.

I had several phone calls with the recruiter who was really helpful and I met with directors and senior management. They all seemed to like me and thought I was a good fit. Then, a week after my final interview, I reached out to the recruiter. She took three days to reply, saying she was sick and that I didn't get the job. No reason was given, which is odd for a company that talks a lot about its recruiting skills.
