R&D Engineer
We started with a resume and portfolio review, which included an intro PPT. Then, there was a first interview that required a presentation and lasted 30-45 minutes. After that, a second interview took place, also 30-45 minutes long, followed by an offer. I interviewed with 4-5 people, including the HR manager, in the first round.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you elaborate on your research theme?
- What are the specifics of your research?
R&D Engineer
the interview process was on campus with a tight schedule, only 30 minutes per person because there were so many candidates. I had a 1:1 interview with the HR Director. First, I had to introduce myself, then explain my personal and education background. After that, they asked general questions about my experience, knowledge, skills, and objectives.
- What kind of skills do you have (hard skill & soft skill)?
- What knowledge do you have?
- What experience do you have?
Research Engineer
So I applied and submitted my resume. After that, there was an online assessment which included an online coding test with 3 questions. If you solve 2 of them, it seems you pass. Then came the first round of interviews where they asked about my research project and my research area. The second round was with the team, focusing on my published paper. There was another interview with HR. Finally, there was a final interview with both HR and a Senior Engineer.
- Can you solve at least two of the three coding problems on the online test?
- Tell me about your research project and your research area.
- What are your skills and how do they relate to your research?
