Online application, followed by three interviews: a phone call, an interview with HR, and an interview with the manager. Questions covered CIR (Crédit Impôt Recherche) and CII (Crédit Impôt Innovation) schemes, the difference between state of the art and market state, differences between CIR and CII, and specific case studies with a writing exercise.

Consultant
The interview process involved a recruiter call, followed by a phone screen, and then an onsite interview. Some of the questions asked during the process included what attracts you most to this position and company, what was the best thing about your last job, and to tell me about a time you had a difficult working relationship with a colleague, including the challenge, how you addressed it, and what you learned. They also asked about a development area, deficit, or gap you've had to overcome or improve, how it was identified, and what you did to improve. Finally, they asked about two of your most satisfying accomplishments in your career, telling about each, and if you have any questions for them.

Technical Consultant
The process started with a phone call from HR recruitment. Then I was invited for an interview in the morning, which was followed by a second interview in the afternoon. It was a really fast and straightforward process. I met with junior/middle management in the morning and then senior management in the afternoon. I was really impressed with how Leyton handled it, giving the hiring manager control instead of spreading risk like other bureaucratic companies with multiple tests and rounds. They were more personal and not drawn out with unnecessary stages. The only downside was that they didn't cover travel expenses, which maybe shows they're only looking for local candidates.
- Can you share an instance where you simplified a complicated subject for someone?
