Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Leyton.
Commercial Executive
The interview process involved a standard interview where we talked about typical cultural fit questions, your motivations, experience, and examples. Then, we moved on to a role-play scenario. After that, you'll give a 10-minute presentation on something you choose. Finally, you'll meet some of the team.
- What drives you the most?
- Can you share some examples of your experience?
- What are your key motivators?
Commercial Executive
The interview process was really smooth and everyone was super nice and welcoming. They were still thorough in their hiring process though. They gave me a good amount of time to ask my questions and answered them all really well. I'd definitely recommend them. I ended up accepting the job offer.
- Can you tell me about a time you faced adversity and how you dealt with it?
Account Executive
The interview experience was pretty bad, to be honest. I interviewed with two managers, and it turns out at least four other candidates felt similarly because they also said the same thing to the recruiter. Honestly, within the first few minutes, I knew I didn't want to work there if it meant having those two managers. They were really condescending and just had a terrible vibe. I let the recruiter know I wasn't interested in moving forward, and I didn't follow up. Definitely a yikes situation!
- Can you walk me through your sales process?
- Give me an instance where you showed leadership.
