It started with a normal phone interview, then a second call before they invited me for an on-site interview. When I got there, I was assigned a host who took me around to meet the interviewers. Everyone was nice and took time to look at my resume and credentials. They asked questions about my past performance and wanted specific examples of skills or traits they were looking for. We had lunch in a big cafeteria in another building, mostly just chatting about the company's plans to add software to their product line. The afternoon had more one-on-one interviews.

I interviewed for the rotational program and it was a great experience! After a phone interview, they flew me in for an on-site. It was a large gathering with candidates for many different roles. We had dinner the night before and then two interviews the next day, each with two current engineers. We also toured the facilities and the city of Lexington. Lexmark made a big effort to help us understand the company and the area.

It starts with a phone call with HR, then they send your info to the departments to see if they're interested. If they are, you'll get an interview with someone from the department. The whole thing takes about 3 weeks between interviews. The interviews aren't usually tough, just standard questions.
