First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LexisNexis Risk Solutions.
Business Development Manager
The entire process spanned 3 weeks and included 4 interview rounds. The people I interacted with were really nice, and the interviews felt pretty informal. I was kept in the loop about what was happening next. The final interview was in person.
- Can you share your previous experience?
- Could you do a presentation?
- Let's do a role play.
Business Development Manager
The process moved pretty fast. First, I had a phone chat with the senior tech recruiter about my sales history and KPIs. Then, I had a separate video call with the sales director. It was casual, and they asked about me, my sales background, and if I hit my targets. I asked them some questions about the role and company at the end. I never got direct feedback on why I didn't get the job; I had to find out myself from the applicant portal. If I'd known upfront that feedback wasn't guaranteed, I wouldn't have bothered with such an unprofessional process.
- Could you share the sales quotas you were expected to meet at your former employer?
Business Development Manager
The employer is quite selective and tends to negotiate salary aggressively, which can deter potential candidates. The hiring manager seems to micromanage and lacks industry experience. It's challenging to work with this employer as they lack clear direction.
- What motivates your interest in this particular role?
