Behavioral Technical Presentation

This was the worst interview process ever! It was so unprofessional and disrespectful. They dragged it out for 6-8 months. I was only told about a new interview when they decided to get back to me. They initially said there would be three interviews, but then changed it to five interviews plus four or five extra conversations. They kept saying I was far along and an offer was likely. Then, they told me I wasn't a good fit because I didn't know enough about insurance, which they knew from the start. Why waste so much time if I wasn't a good fit from the first interview? None of the interviewers seemed to know what was going on, and they asked the same questions repeatedly. I'm so disappointed with how little they considered my time.

The recruiter reached out first, asking about my background and my confidence for the role. A few days later, the hiring manager called and went over the same questions the recruiter asked. They wanted to ensure I was set on the job and asked me to call back after the weekend to confirm if I wanted to move forward with the in-person interview. I confirmed my interest. Then, I had an in-person interview with two managers, which I thought went well, but they ended up hiring someone internally. They called me afterwards to thank me for applying and to ask if they could keep my resume on file for future openings.
