I had a call with a recruiter, which went okay. They asked some typical interview questions like greatest strength and weakness. Then there was a quick editing test. The last part involved a tour, a chat with the hiring manager, and a small panel interview. Interestingly, no one really dug into my previous editorial or work history. The hiring manager didn't seem very engaged with what I had to say and didn't ask follow-up questions, but the panel was more pleasant.

The interview process was very fast, taking only a week to complete. It started with a recruiter phone screen, followed by a virtual interview with VPs. The final stage involved an onsite interview, a writing assignment, and a behavioral skills test. It felt like they asked very few questions, with each interviewer asking a maximum of three, and surprisingly, they repeated the same questions. I spoke with five people in total. The vibe was a bit cold and unenthusiastic from most of them, which made me question the work environment. I didn't get an offer in the end and when I asked for feedback, I was ignored. It seems like a place where referrals are very important.

I had a phone screen, then a long in-person interview. It was very structured, with young entitled managers. They seem to prefer people who just do what they're told, not independent thinkers. I made it to the final interviews and did well on their exercises, but they didn't end up offering me the job.

It was a 3 hour process. I started by sitting with a recent hire who shared his daily routine and answered all my questions about Levitate. Then, I got to observe a SDR making cold calls. After that, I took a personality test and then made my own cold calls. The process ended with a traditional interview that was about 45 minutes long.
