First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Levin Furniture.
Sales Associate
So, my sales associate interview was pretty thorough. First up was a screening call to see if I was a good fit. After that, I chatted one-on-one with some of the hiring managers and people from HR. It was a chance to show them I've got good communication skills, know my sales stuff, and am really focused on making customers happy. They also had me do some skill tests and role-playing, which was cool for showing how I'd handle actual sales stuff.

Sales Associate
It's a long process to get hired in at Levin Furniture. You have to fill out an online application first, then the recruiter will ask you to do a video interview with 5 questions. If you pass that, the next stage is an online assessment, kind of like a short psychological test. After that, you will have one or two interviews with store management. Then they talk to the Recruiter to make sure the candidate is a good fit. If everything checks out, you'll be offered the position. The office staff and the salespeople are all really nice and seem happy with their jobs. You might interview with the store manager and the sales manager on two separate occasions, because they want to make sure you're a good fit for their store.
- What kind of work environment are you seeking?
- How do you define success?
- What are your salary expectations?
Sales Associate
I had two interviews, one with the regional manager and the other with a store manager. Pretty straightforward. The hardest part was waiting for a final answer and the decision on which store I would be working.
- Are you comfortable with sales?
