Sales Development Representative
The interview process felt unprofessional. Conversations were conducted appropriately, but the whole thing took way too long and there wasn't much transparency or explanation. It dragged on for over 9 months.
- Tell me about your weaknesses and how you intend to overcome them.
Sales Development Representative
It was made up of three different meetings. First, a recruiter screen, then a meeting with the hiring managers, and finally another one with the senior leadership. It's not that bad as long as you can effectively speak to how you can contribute in a sales capacity.
- Can you tell me about a difficult challenge you encountered and how you worked through it?
Sales Development Representative
It was a long interview, about 4 hours, to see if I was a good fit for the role and the company culture. I was told to just be myself and answer honestly and professionally, and they would be impressed. I felt comfortable the whole time, even when I had to explain how I transitioned from my last job. The people were really nice and seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me. They said showing my character would help me succeed. If you're interviewing for sales, make sure to bring info about your skills and successes. They really liked hearing about my previous experiences, especially from my point of view. I prepped for maybe an hour or two and felt ready.
- Do you have previous experience in prospecting? Can you describe what that entailed?
