It was a pretty straightforward process. The interviewer had been with the company for some time, but they didn't seem to have much experience with interviewing and struggled to answer simple questions about what the job actually entails.

The interview process was quite straightforward. I had a 15-minute phone call with the regional manager, which felt more like an initial screening. I suspect my well-organized application, including a cover letter, resume, and contacts list, played a role. A significant challenge arose with accommodating my recommenders' schedules. Leslie's store managers are restricted to using only the store phone for contact, and they cannot make calls outside of business hours, which conflicted with my contacts' availability. My contacts attempted to reach the manager via the store line, but couldn't get through due to his customer-facing duties. Despite these issues and not obtaining any recommendations, I was ultimately hired. If recommendations are crucial for a role, it seems necessary to submit formal recommendation letters with your resume.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process is straightforward in person. However, over the phone, you should have your resume, strengths, and weaknesses prepared. It's important to answer the phone promptly on the first or second call, as missing these might mean you won't get the job. I only call twice for phone interviews. If you're hired, be prepared for several certification courses, even if you're in a sales associate role.
