The recruiter contacted me on Indeed about a Store Manager role with Sunglass Hut, which I was interested in. Then, I got an email to schedule an interview for LensCrafters, which was confusing since the first message was about Sunglass Hut. I asked for clarification and found out it was for LensCrafters at a location far from me. The recruiter blamed a system error, but I suspect it was just a mistake on her part. On the interview day, five minutes before it was supposed to start, I received an email saying they were canceling because they needed someone with specific licensing, which wasn't mentioned in the job description. I didn't see the email until 10 minutes into the scheduled interview time, as I had already joined the Zoom call.

I applied for the job and then a recruiter got in touch. I had an interview with the Regional Manager. After that, I moved on to a panel interview with four people. They asked me about my management and leadership experience, why I wanted to join the company, and also about sales and customer service.

Behavioral Presentation

Went through 3 interviews, first with a recruiter, then a senior regional manager, and finally a panel with a zone VP. All interviews went really well and were super conversational. They mainly wanted to see if I could be a good leader and connect with people. They also focused a lot on KPIs, making sure I had experience with them for the role. They got back to me within a few days to a week between interviews, and I got an offer pretty quickly after the last one.
