Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LensCrafters.
Sales Supervisor
I was contacted by a recruiter who managed another store. My first interview was with my potential manager, followed by an interview with the district manager. I was offered the job right away and accepted. They focus heavily on customer service and might ask you to role-play selling or handling customer service scenarios.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in working for Lenscrafters?
- What is your understanding of Lenscrafters as a company?
- Describe your approach to dealing with a customer who is being rude.
Sales
It started online, then an in-person meeting. After that, I waited two weeks. They told me I should expect an offer within a week, but then nothing. I was left in limbo and never heard back. They were really nice during the interviews and said they really needed help and wanted me to work there, but then nothing happened and I ended up going elsewhere.
- Tell me about your skills and your desired working hours.
Sales Supervisor
It was a really fast process. They asked me about my management experience, what projects I handled to boost sales, and my career goals for the next 2 and 5 years. They also wanted to hear about a tough customer service issue I faced and how I fixed it.
- Can you tell me what a typical day was like in your past roles?
- How many direct reports did you have?
- What's your approach to greeting customers?
