Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lenovo.
Manager
First, I had a call with HR. Then, the second round was face-to-face with the department manager where they asked about my experience, why I left my old job and joined Lenovo. They also asked about pricing models in different scenarios. The final round was a review with the 2nd line manager who asked about my expectations, vision, and plan if I get hired.
- How can you guarantee that our pricing is the most competitive?
Proposal Manager
It was a mix of remote and in-person interviews. They started with an in-person one after the initial screening, then the rest were remote. It felt friendly but also pretty intense, with people from different roles and levels interviewing me.
- What's your approach to keeping teams on track?
Senior Manager
Went through a basic interview where they had a list of questions. It felt like they were more focused on getting answers to the questions than on the discussion itself. The conversation was relaxed and they didn't try to trick me with any of the questions.
- Can you share your relevant past experiences?
- What are your experiences with business relationships?
