Had a short phone chat with HR. They mostly asked about my resume, wanting to hear about my past work and how my skills could be used in new ways. It was a casual talk about my professional history.

I spoke with three people: the VP of Finance (who is my direct manager), a Land Acquisition Manager, and another finance analyst. The interview lasted over 3 hours. They were all really nice and seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. They even mentioned spending more time with me than they had planned. I talked about my experience in real estate development on my own and my interest in learning about inner-city development. I had to explain concepts like "Angel investment" and "Hard Money" to the VP of Finance. After all that time, they decided I wouldn't be happy in a Junior Financial Analyst role, which surprised me since I thought everything I discussed was already on my resume.

RUN!!! Do not walk- Red flag when recruiter has to reach out several times but I tried to keep an open mind so went forward. The LV division president is uneducated & unprofessional… & it REALLY shows (apparently she’s receptionist who worked her way up in 20+ years of service) I immediately withdrew…. Maybe good for folks just starting out in career but anyone with solid experience & education- absolutely no!
