Intern
The interview process was very disorganized and didn't give interns clear expectations on how to prepare. The recruiter/manager's emails were vague, and the interview steps were messy without any context. I first completed a simple assessment before any initial phone interview. After submitting it, they scheduled a '2nd interview' to send over my resume. During the interview, the interviewer was rude and impatient because I couldn't identify the bugs they expected. They didn't mention beforehand that I needed to share my screen to show the manual script, which I assumed they had already reviewed. They showed disinterest in my project experiences, interrupted me frequently, and were impatient. They asked what language I used for the assessment even though it was visible on my screen, and got upset that I taught myself Python instead of having taken coursework in it. We didn't even discuss my resume in the end.

Intern
I went through a selection process in Manaus for an internship position. I was very happy to learn I fit the profile. The chat with the analyst went very well, but in the interview with the area manager, I still fit the profile but was eliminated for a completely nonsensical reason: my father's profession. It was extremely frustrating because I prepare a lot, study the area, and had experience with the segment and the area, despite it being an internship position. Saying I don’t “need to work” because my father has a certain function is not only rude but also invasive.
- What is your father's profession?
Intern
They were attentive and provided quick feedback. The interviewer made an effort to create a comfortable environment with clear questions. It was a very constructive chat. The first stage was with HR, and the very next day we scheduled the meeting with the area manager.
