Customer Service Representative
The application process at LEGOLAND usually looks like this: First, you submit your resume and cover letter online. Then, HR reviews your application and might invite you for a phone call. If that goes well, you'll have an in-person interview. Sometimes there's a practical test or role-play as well. If everything's good, you'll get a formal offer and then start with an introduction/training. Keep in mind, the exact steps can differ depending on the specific job.
- Tell me about a time you dealt with an angry customer and how you resolved it.
- What's your motivation for wanting to join LEGOLAND's customer service team?
- How do you ensure customers have a good experience even when facing issues?
Customer Service Associate
The interview process wasn't too difficult. Just make sure to pay attention to what's being asked and respond with confidence. It's also important to have a good grasp of basic customer service principles. Dress well for the interview. Try not to get too stressed out if there are many people interviewing.
- What does customer service mean to you?
Customer Service Representative
You start with an assessment centre, and if selected, you proceed to an interview on the same day. If successful, there's a full day of training on a Saturday, described as a "death by PowerPoint" session. After this long day, you might have to wait for a manager to remember to "pick you up" for onboarding. The interview process felt biased, with a "loudest wins" dynamic, where less capable candidates were favoured because their perceived "thickness" was considered "funny." This is understandable given the management seems to be very young.
- What motivates your interest in this role?
