The interview process was great, with them keeping me updated on everything. HR was super clear about each step, making it easy and not stressful at all. I really liked how open they were and how professional they were with my application from the first chat to the very end.

Coding Technical System Design

So, Legion Technologies' interview process was pretty solid. It started with a screener and a coding round with the hiring manager, where they threw some problem-solving and DevOps coding stuff at me. Then came three more technical rounds: one was live coding on Coderpad, focusing on coding and DevOps scripting with a Software Engineer, DevOps. Next, I talked about cloud infra (AWS), CI/CD, monitoring, and logging with a Principal Software Engineer, DevOps. The last technical one was about automation, IaC, and testing with a Senior Software Engineer, SRE. They were tough but fair, with a mix of theory and practical questions. The whole thing moved pretty fast, and they kept me in the loop.

Coding Coding System Design

I went through two coding rounds, each being an elimination round with Leetcode easy to medium questions. After the second round, I was invited to a third round, a System Design interview with the Hiring Manager. However, within a few hours, Legion Technologies canceled the interview, stating they hired someone with better qualifications and experience. This whole experience felt unprofessional and like a waste of time, with no feedback provided.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Balanced Brackets: https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/check-for-balanced-parentheses-in-an-expression/ I solved this in under 15 minutes and then the interviewer asked a hard Leetcode problem about finding the maximum length of a valid parenthesis substring, focusing on my thought process and approach.
