First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Legion Technologies.
Product Manager
The interview was pretty structured and took about 6 rounds. It kicked off with a recruiter screen, then went into product sense chats, followed by some technical and product deep dives, and interviews with people from other teams. The last part was a panel presentation where I had to present a product strategy case. The panel asked good questions about how to execute, what trade-offs to consider, strategy with partners, and how to prioritize. The interviewers were overall professional and seemed genuinely interested in how I think. The discussions were deep and felt like real product challenges, especially about scaling integrations and making the user experience better. It's a tough process that really tests strategic thinking and staying calm under pressure. Maybe they could be a bit clearer on what they're looking for in the final presentation. But yeah, it was a good experience and gave a solid sense of what the job is like.
- Regarding integration with multiple systems, how would you navigate the trade-offs between SSO, mobile experience, and UX consistency?
Customer Support Manager
I went through two interview rounds for this job. The third interview with the Director of Support was extremely unprofessional, seriously setting a new low for how interviews should be conducted. She showed up over fifteen minutes late, joined the call while driving (camera off), and seemed really uninterested the whole time. Because she was so late, distracted, and dismissive, it was obvious she wasn't really looking to assess my skills. Instead of a proper interview, she basically jumped into giving me free career and job search advice based on her own background, showing how little she took the process seriously. It was clear from the start that she had already decided who to hire and that my interview was just a formality. She even cut the interview short. It was a total waste of my time. If this is the kind of person and culture they have at the director level, I'm seriously doubting the quality of their company culture.
- What is your motivation for seeking this role?
Software Engineer
So, Legion Technologies' interview process was pretty solid. It started with a screener and a coding round with the hiring manager, where they threw some problem-solving and DevOps coding stuff at me. Then came three more technical rounds: one was live coding on Coderpad, focusing on coding and DevOps scripting with a Software Engineer, DevOps. Next, I talked about cloud infra (AWS), CI/CD, monitoring, and logging with a Principal Software Engineer, DevOps. The last technical one was about automation, IaC, and testing with a Senior Software Engineer, SRE. They were tough but fair, with a mix of theory and practical questions. The whole thing moved pretty fast, and they kept me in the loop.
- Could you solve a Coderpad coding problem concerning CI/CD automation?
- What are your strategies for monitoring Kubernetes clusters, and which metrics are paramount?
- Can you describe the process of setting up infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform?
Consultant
This was a long interview process across 2 months and speaking to 7 different people. The first few conversations were scheduled very quickly and were all good conversations. When it came time for my sixth interview with the Chief Customer Officer, he rescheduled to the following week 30 minutes before we were supposed to meet. Then, he showed up 10 minutes late when we met the following week. My final interview was scheduled with the CEO on a Saturday, and he proceeded to show up 7 minutes late to our call. It was pretty clear that they were just having me hang around in case someone they liked more came along. This was truly the worst and most disrespectful interview process I have ever been put through.
- Can you describe your experience with workforce management?
