First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Legacy Traditional School.
Special Education Teacher
I went through three interviews: first with the recruiter, then the lead, and finally the principal. All the people I met were really nice. It was easy to reach the recruiter.
- What makes you want to work at legacy traditional schools?
Teacher
This interview process was somewhat easy. They are looking for teachers who can have a high leverage impact, manage over 25 students, track data, keep the classroom engaged with high-level academics. It also involves good communication with coworkers and parents, understanding the curriculum, and managing small groups during testing.
- How would you approach this situation...?
- How would you handle that situation...?
- How do you manage student behavior?
Purchasing Manager
I applied and then HR reached out to set up a screening interview, but they didn't call at the scheduled time. I contacted them, and we rescheduled a second phone screen, but again, they no-showed. Eventually, I did connect with the HR person. It wasn't the most professional start. Then, the hiring manager called me in for an interview with him and his boss. That interview went well, and I liked the conversation. Later, I got a call late one afternoon asking me to come in the next morning to meet with another leader. I was told I was one of two finalists and would hear back within a week. I never heard back, not even a response to a voicemail. I figured I didn't get the job when I saw a new purchasing manager listed on their website. After two interviews, it was surprising not to get any notification, even to say they chose someone else.
- Regarding staffing, do you think we have the right number of people, or are we over or understaffed?
Technician
Really great interview with awesome people. The culture of cultivating its employees was clearly shown in the interview process. They gave me answers to their questions after I had answered them. Friendly demeanor and very transparent in what they need and are looking for.
- What is your understanding of SSO?
