First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Legacy Professionals.
Accountant
The interview process at Legacy Professionals LLP was enjoyable with a positive atmosphere making it smooth. Even though I'm not very experienced with interviews and this would usually be a stressful situation for me, both the HR director and the hiring/department manager were nice and welcoming, which made me excited to share my story with them!
- Could you share what you consider your greatest strength and your greatest weakness?
- What aspect of accounting do you find most appealing?
- Can you describe your approach to multitasking, given that time management is crucial in accounting?
Staff Accountant
I applied in person and had a phone interview scheduled within two days. I spoke with HR for about half an hour about the job. It was mostly behavioral questions with one exception. About 10 minutes after that call, I was invited for an in-office interview. There, I met with two managers and a partner, all of whom were very pleasant.
- In five years, where do you envision yourself being?
- Given that a hammer and a nail together cost $1.10, and the hammer is $1.00 more than the nail, what is the cost of the nail?
Staff Accountant
I first spoke with HR. Then I went to the downtown office for another interview. There, I met with a senior person and two managers. After that, the CEO gave a presentation. They showed me around the office too. Everyone was nice and easy to chat with.
- What made you get into accounting?
- Tell me about your hobbies.
- What was your reason for picking your college?
