First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ledcor.
Project Coordinator
I saw an ad at my school for a project coordinator position and submitted my resume. They contacted me for an interview within 2 days. It was a 15 minute interview, mostly to see if I was a good personality fit. There were not many technical questions, mostly about why I want to do this kind of work and if I'd fit with the company culture.
- What's your interest in construction?
Project Coordinator
I had a couple of interviews. They asked regular questions. Both people I met were nice and it felt like a conversation. It was a good experience overall. The first interview was with HR, and the next was with the manager.
- Can you describe your experience in construction?
Project Coordinator
Ledcor had an info session the day before a round of interviews. This gave all applicants a chance to learn more about the company and decide if they were interested. You also had the opportunity to meet your interviewers beforehand, which was VERY HELPFUL! The interview itself was pleasant, with low tension and no questions that put you on the spot or forced you to recall a specific past experience (like, "Describe a time you had a conflict with an employee and how you resolved it"). It was very casual, involving discussions about my interests and the nature of the job.
- What are your salary expectations?
