The interview process was conducted professionally. It started with a screening call with HR, followed by a Zoom meeting with the department lead. The next step was a take-home task that involved preparing a strategy to improve customer accounts, which I then presented to the team. Although I didn't receive an offer, I appreciated the phone call informing me of the decision. The task made the interviews feel difficult, but otherwise, it was a smooth and easy process.

Behavioral Case Presentation

I had an overall good experience interviewing at LearnUpon. The process started with a recruiter screen, which was a casual chat about my past experience. Then, there was a 1-hour Hiring Manager call to discuss my experience, some situational questions, and what the role entails. The next step was a 1h30min practical interview with the HM and two other senior people (Director level and above). I had to analyze 8 case studies and present them back. While the exercise gave me a good sense of the role, I personally feel 8 case studies might be a bit much, maybe 3-4 would suffice. We only got through 4 during the actual call. This part was the hardest because it needed significant prep time. After that, I was told I was through to the CFO Interview, but I didn't end up attending it because I accepted another offer.

Behavioral Technical

The whole process was really off-putting. I sent my availability, but never got confirmation. Then the department director emailed asking why I missed the interview I didn't know was happening! Eventually, I had the interview, and it went fine, leading to the next round where the same thing happened. I had questions afterward, but the recruiter never responded. Then I had the next interviews, and I had to mention I was sick with norovirus but still showed up on Zoom because the recruiter was uncooperative. They rushed the interviews because they wanted to hire fast, and then it took them two weeks to tell me I didn't get the job. The whole experience made me feel like a terrible candidate and didn't give me a good impression of the company's hiring process. While everyone was kind, it didn't make up for the poor communication. It made me look and feel like a terrible candidate and it didn’t leave me a great impression about the recruitment process or company.
