Overall the people I met were nice. The issue is the company isn't upfront about their hiring process, and they don't give any feedback or offers because they lack people. Also, they misrepresent their restructuring plans and team-building goals. It seems like working there would be a stagnant environment where nothing progresses.

The interviewer asked about my teaching experience, how I started my teaching career and what my weaknesses are. The interview was rather informal and casual. I would need to get trained and give two mock lessons if I decided to move on to the next steps.

The recruiter reached out, and we had a Skype interview. I was offered paid training, and after that, there were two mock lessons to see if I'd be hired. I turned down the offer after the first interview and didn't attend the training. I feel a company that charges students for missed classes but doesn't compensate teachers for their time isn't a good fit, especially when they charge 33% which is unfair given the student is being charged for a missed class. This shows a lack of respect for a teacher's time.

It started with a short interview covering basic English teaching questions. The whole process also includes finishing two induction training days and two mock lessons. The induction training lasts about 6 hours daily, mostly because many applicants aren't familiar with the tech used for online teaching.
