First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lear Corporation.
Production Assistant
The first step of the selection process was a group activity run by a recruitment company, where I had to fill out some information and write a text of at least 10 lines about my experience and why I wanted to work at the company. Now I'm moving on to the second stage, which will be at the company.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment with Lear?
Stanzer
After an interview plan. Kept neutral. With some questions. Professional, Personal, other interests, hobbies, expectations, future prospects, career opportunities. How you got to Lear. Why you left your previous employer. How much money you want to earn.
- What career opportunities I would have.
Project Engineer
First, I got an email for the initial HR interview. Then, I got an invite call for a technical interview with the Hiring Manager, again online. Lastly, I had a 3rd interview with the Hiring Manager and HR manager, after which offers were sent. The last interview was face-to-face, and they were patient enough to wait for me for a month.
- Can you describe some project management deliverables specific to the automotive industry?
Quality Supervisor
The interview focused heavily on quality-related queries. There were also some technical questions, but they weren't overly difficult. They asked things like if I'm a team player and how I handle both stressful and relaxed days at work.
- Can you describe your approach to training methods?
- What are your thoughts on being a team player?
- How do you cope with stressful days?
