Sales Development Representative
The HR person was clueless. They showed up a bit late for the interview, not knowing who I was or about my experience, and had to spend about 5 minutes looking up my CV. Then they said that it's an entry-level role and since I'm experienced, they needed to talk to the hiring manager, which is obviously a rejection excuse. The main point was, what was the point of the interview? They could have just said all that in an email.
- Can you tell me about yourself?

I was really happy with how the interviews went. It was a total of 2 Zoom interviews and they didn't have too many rounds like some places. They care a lot about if you fit the company culture. It took less than 4 weeks from when I applied online (with a referral from someone who works there) to get an offer. The first interview was with the HR Director on Zoom. She was super nice and easy to chat with. They asked me basic stuff like 'why LEAP?', 'how would your colleagues describe you?', and 'what are you looking for in your next job?'. A few days later, they called to set up the next interview with the team supervisor. This one included the supervisor and another team member. They focused a lot on behavioral questions, asking about times I dealt with tough coworkers, how I handled criticism, and when I took initiative and the results.
- Can you name three words your co-workers would use to describe you?
- What are three things you are looking for in your next job?
- How do you conduct multi-jurisdictional research?

I had a phone interview with the LEAP AU Recruiter, which was quite thorough. They explained the expectations and the interview process, and asked if I had questions, which I didn't since they covered everything. This made a good impression. Then, I had two Zoom interviews. After that, I moved to the offer and reference check stages. The recruiter kept me informed throughout the whole application process with consistent and thorough communication. It was one of the best recruitment experiences I've had. I accepted the offer and started the job.

First step was setting up a 30 minute phone interview via email. Phone interview lasted about 20 minutes and I immediately received an email that same day for an in person meeting. The time slot they provided was perfect the following morning. The in person interview was an hour long and I felt as though it went extremely well. They stated another interview was going to be scheduled with the VP, this should have been scheduled at the same time. If you're still a full time employee how do they expect you to keep coming back and forth on normal working hours?
