Customer Success Manager
I applied on the LeafLink website and was contacted by HR to set up an interview with the hiring manager. They told me upfront about the interview steps: a phone screen, a zoom call with the team (4 people, 30 mins each), and a presentation round. After the phone interview, I had the team zoom call the following week. The team was really engaged, asked great questions about my background and experience, and I got to ask my questions too to make sure it was a good fit for me. The whole process was smooth and they were really open about what was next, which was better than most companies I've dealt with.

- Could you share which of our core values you connect with most, and explain why?
Client Success Manager
I went through the interview process for the CXM role in LA. It started with a recruiter call from NYC. Then, I had a phone interview with a Senior CXM, which went fine. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview the next week and was asked to prepare a presentation. The in-person part involved meeting a project manager, two CXMs, and then finishing with the presentation to the Senior CXM. The project manager was really nice and we had a long talk about my experience. The next part with the two CXMs was a bit odd because one of them seemed high and asked me behavioral questions that didn't really fit my background. When I said I didn't want to make up stories using the STAR method, one of them asked what it was, which was surprising given the context. He then condescendingly asked me random questions like Drake vs. The Beatles, my favorite movie, and about cannabis use. After that, I gave my presentation, which I spent three days preparing for. I was a bit nervous because of the previous part. The Senior CXM was nice and seemed to appreciate my research on the company, especially in the cannabis industry. She said I'd hear back in a day, but I got a rejection letter three days later. It's a bummer because I think I would have been good for the role, but I suspect the unprofessional CXM and potential favoritism played a part.

Client Success Manager
I applied and heard back the next day about my availability. I was able to set up an interview for later that week. During the phone screen, the interviewer seemed uninterested. She asked questions really fast, like she wanted to be done. She didn't seem like she enjoyed her job or wanted others to be excited about her company.
- What are your salary expectations?
