The interview was pretty easy, and it seemed like they're always hiring since it's a commission-only role. The chat went for about 30-40 minutes. It was a good conversation, and they appeared to be in the process of building their team. There was a lot of hiring paperwork in the lobby, suggesting they might have a high employee turnover rate.

The interviewer was very personable and easy to talk to, making it one of the most pleasant interviews I've had. The interview also included a detailed description of the company, its future direction, and the training procedures.

After being hired and completing all onboarding over 4-5 weeks, I showed up to start, only to be told by the general manager that I wasn't actually hired yet and he needed to interview me. It was insulting, but I went through with it. He asked me 4 questions and instructed me to memorize 3 paragraphs and read them back perfectly the next day, which would secure my hiring. This was after I had already been offered the job 4 weeks prior, stopped my job search, and prepared for training. I contacted HR via email and phone but received no response or explanation.
