I had 3 interviews. The HR rep and the Director of RevOp were great, they really explained the company's issues and what they are looking for. It was a good chat and I got a clear idea of how things work there and how I could fit in. But the last interview with the CEO wasn't so good. He was late and seemed rushed, so we only talked for about 10-15 minutes instead of the 45 we had planned. He didn't explain his expectations clearly. When I asked about the hiring process and what's next, he was vague. He also seemed a bit unfocused during our chat, so it was hard to have a proper conversation.

Behavioral Case

So, the interview process at LeadPages was actually one of the coolest ones I've gone through, and believe me, I've done a bunch. It kicked off with a quick chat with a recruiter to go over my background and what I'm aiming for next in my career. We figured out pretty quickly that I'd be a good fit, so then I got to talk with the CEO, and they invited me for an all-day interview. Now, full-day interviews can be a drag, but this one was actually a blast. I got to dive deep into the company vibe, where they're headed, what they're looking for in new hires, and how I'd fit into their awesome company culture. Seriously, everyone there is super stoked to be working there, and it shows. After the day was done, they realized I'd be a great fit for two roles, but neither was a perfect match for my skills. So, get this, they created a whole new position just for me that uses all my skills and offers tons of room to grow and learn. I totally didn't see that coming and it was the biggest selling point. The whole thing felt really focused on making sure it was a good match for both of us: would I fit in, did I have the right skills, and would I actually enjoy the work? Thankfully, the answer to all those was a big fat yes! It was never a struggle, weird, or repetitive, which is a shame because that's how way too many interviews are.

It was a pretty thorough process. Started with a phone interview, then an email exercise, and then another phone interview. The recruiter, Travis, was great and explained everything well. After talking to him first, I had a phone interview with some team leads from LeadPages and Drip. They were all super friendly and helpful. Didn't get the job in the end, but the interview process itself was good.

The interview process for this role is quite thorough, as noted by others. Leadpages is upfront about this, and they ensure you have a dedicated contact throughout. My experience involved roughly six distinct stages spanning six weeks. While it was a lengthy process, I found it to be exceptionally well-executed compared to other interviews I've undergone.
