First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Leading EDJE.
Solutions Developer
The interview had three stages. First was a behavioral interview with one HR person, focused on cultural fit. Second, two delivery leaders interviewed me. They also aimed for cultural fit but might ask some high-level technical questions about my background. The final stage involved two other developers for a technical interview. It was very open-ended, asking me to go over my background and technical details as deep as I wanted. This lack of structure was a bit confusing, and one interviewer seemed uninterested from the start. It felt like a waste of time due to condescending and awkward gatekeeping at the end.
- Can you share a time you made a mistake, how you dealt with it, and what you learned?
Solutions Developer
It started with a phone interview, then I met with partners. It was a bit long, but overall worth the time. After they decided to move forward, they made an offer. I accepted, although it was dependent on me being assigned to my first project, which happened quickly. Towards the end of my tenure (I relocated), they hired a Sr. Recruiter I know well. He's very competent, and I anticipate their interview process and procedures will only improve.
- Some technical questions were asked.
- Many questions were asked to gauge my cultural fit within the company.
Solutions Developer
It started with a phone screen, then 3 more interviews followed. They weren't too tough, but after the second one, I heard nothing back. No rejection email, no scheduling for the next one. Just silence. They wouldn't do this to their customers, so why candidates?
