First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LCL.
IT Consultant
Interviewed with an ESN for a mission with this client but total disappointment and frustration because the client blacklists candidates based on gossip without listening to the consultant. It's sad and unfortunate not to form one's own opinion about the candidate by giving them a chance. The worst part is to urge companies not to hire them. It's unfair and inhumane. How can the French state, a country supposed to be of human rights, allow such actions 😔 LCL VILLEJUIF is a company to avoid and flee absolutely.

Trader
First, a quick phone chat. Then, I met with two market directors for another interview. It's pretty tough for someone fresh out of school because they ask about structured products and methods not often seen in real-world markets, making concrete interpretation difficult. They don't waste time; if they see you can't answer, they move on quickly.
- Regarding Eur3M +0.5, if I'm a client with a capped variable rate loan and a floor, am I at an advantage?
- Could you explain delta hedging?
- Describe the process of selling an ABF with a dollar buyer.
Bank Advisor
First round was a typical phone call where they talked about my background, LCL, and the role. Second round was a video call with an HR person, which was more in-depth. They went over my background and LCL in detail, asking about my past experiences, knowledge of the job, and why I'm interested. Third round was in person with the branch manager, similar to the HR interview but with more details about the business side.

Credit Risk Analyst
During my recent interview at LCL for the Credit Analyst position, I had a really positive and enriching experience. From the moment I arrived, the HR team gave me a warm welcome. Their friendliness and professionalism immediately put me at ease, making for a constructive interview. The LCL recruitment team took the time to explain the company culture, values, and mission. They also clarified the expectations for the Credit Analyst role, emphasizing its importance in the bank's financial risk management. The interview flowed smoothly, with relevant questions about my professional background, technical skills, and credit analysis knowledge. I was particularly struck by their focus on my future outlook and adaptability to the banking industry's changes. LCL seems genuinely invested in employee development, valuing innovation and adaptability. The interview concluded with an open discussion about the next recruitment steps, leaving a positive impression of the company's transparency and communication. Overall, my interview at LCL for the Credit Analyst position was very satisfactory.
