Revenue Enablement Program Manager
I can't really describe the process because the recruiter ended the call about two minutes in. After setting up the initial chat with the recruiter, I got some useful interview prep materials to help me get ready. For about four days, I think I spent roughly 3 hours learning about the company, like its competitors, acquisitions, and culture. Then, the recruiter cut the interview short when they realized Later can't hire in my state. I'm glad I found this out early on the call, but it would have been way better to know this before I sent my resume and wasted time I won't get back.
- What is your current location?
Director
I had several conversations during the interview process and appreciated the opportunity to meet team members who were clearly capable and knowledgeable. The role itself was positioned as a senior leadership position focused on managing and scaling a team. During the hiring manager interview, however, the experience felt misaligned with the scope of the role. The discussion focused heavily on tactical, individual-contributor–level questions rather than leadership, team development, or strategic decision-making. The interviewer also joined late and seemed disengaged at times, which made it difficult to have a meaningful, two-way conversation. Additionally, communication toward the end of the process lacked follow-through. After being told that feedback would be shared via a call, there was a prolonged period of silence before communication resumed. While I understand teams are busy, clearer expectations or a simple check-in would have gone a long way. Having since spoken with other candidates and read similar feedback online, there appears to be a recurring theme around interview consistency and candidate experience.
- Can you tell me about your experience managing affiliate programs?
Affiliate Marketing Manager
I was contacted by Later to apply and interview for the Affiliate Marketing Manager position. The process involved three rounds, a challenging assignment, and a presentation. Unfortunately, after completing all stages, I received an automated rejection email on a Sunday, which felt like a mistake given the effort invested. Following up twice, even involving the hiring manager, I learned I was a finalist, but the automated email was indeed the final decision. This experience was disappointing and disrespectful, especially considering the lack of a personalized rejection after weeks of my time and unpaid work. For a company focused on brand and community, their process was impersonal, negligent, and unprofessional.

Co-Op
The interview process was really smooth, they had two different rounds that we had to go through. The first round was behavioral, where we just got to know each other and asked questions about past experiences. The second was to go over an influencer campaign pitch (short) presentation that we were asked to make beforehand. They asked a couple of questions about why you chose that specific campaign and then we had time to mingle!
