The HR person talked about the job and its level. Initially, they mentioned the role was at a higher experience level than my current one. Then, we discussed salary expectations, and it seemed like a 25% hike wouldn't be possible. After that, I had an interview with someone at the same level, a manager interviewing a manager. This interviewer seemed disinterested and arrogant, and abruptly ended the interview. I figured out that for this level, they have people with less experience, and the salary range is also lower, which is understandable given the market, but the hiring partner over-sold the position. It wasn't a good experience.

First, there was a telephonic discussion where we talked generally about my work experience, my current role, and why I'm looking to leave my current organization. It was all based on my CV. The interview was conducted over Google Hangout. Next, I was given an assignment related to certain company use cases.
