First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LasikPlus.
Lasik Coordinator
My interview process was a bit different. Lasik Plus divides their interviews into three separate meetings: one video chat and two in-person sessions with two small groups. Since my schedule was tight, they were able to combine the last two interviews into a single, hour-long meeting with six employees from different departments. It sounds intimidating, but they were all so friendly, approachable, and patient that the hour just flew by. They asked really detailed questions about my previous work experience, presented me with hypothetical situations, and asked questions about me to make sure I was a good fit for the job. I'd definitely suggest getting ready for this interview. Review your resume, practice answering questions with a friend or family member, and research the company and the specific role you're applying for. It was a great interview experience, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a career change with a company that's invested in your success.

Patient Care Representative
The hiring and interview process was really smooth! It took a little over a week from start to finish. I had the chance to talk with the doctors so they could get to know me better. I went through a total of four interviews, which might sound like a lot, but I think it's worth it because you get to meet several key people. It shows the company is really invested in who they bring on board and what they can bring to the team. Most of my interviews were conducted over the phone, either through a regular phone call or a video call. All in all, it was a great experience. Thanks, LasikPlus!

Sales Associate
I found the job online and they called me back after a few days. We scheduled an initial interview and they sent me a work style questionnaire to complete before it. The questionnaire had two difficult choices that made me feel trapped, like 'I'm not afraid to confront my coworkers' vs 'The boss is usually wrong.' It was hard to pick without sounding like a difficult person or someone who doesn't respect authority. I got through it and we set up a Skype-like interview. My interviewer didn't show up for the scheduled time. The next day, she emailed saying she thought it was that day and could do it in 5 minutes. I had a doctor's appointment, so we rescheduled. When we finally did the interview, she called me the wrong name and seemed annoyed when I asked if she was looking at my resume. The rest of the interview went well though. She said she'd contact me early the next week, but I heard nothing. A week later, HR emailed asking if I was still interested. I told them I'd interviewed over a week ago and was waiting to hear back, but they never replied. The whole hiring and HR process seemed really disorganized, which is too bad because the company's offices and doctors are highly rated.

Customer Service Representative
The interview was a three-part interview, with two interviews conducted via Skype. The third interview involved shadowing at the location. I found the shadowing experience to be nice, but ultimately a waste of time because I don't believe they hire African Americans, as the entire facility was comprised of white people. I was asked if I could handle the doctor's strong political views, and I said yes, but I believe that's why I didn't get the job. They assumed because I'm Black I identify with a certain political party.
