It was a technical round. Started with introductions, then we discussed my projects and past experience. They asked some cloud developer questions and migration questions. Also covered security questions, mostly focused on AWS and Azure cloud. Then we touched on front-end technologies like Angular, AngularJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

Technical Behavioral

The interview experience was pretty average. We mostly talked about core full-stack development stuff, focusing on Angular for the front-end and .NET for the back-end services. For Angular, they asked about the basics like components, modules, data binding, directives, and simple routing. We also touched on form handling and connecting to APIs. It wasn't super deep, though – didn't really get into advanced performance, state management, or complex RxJS patterns. On the .NET side, it was about Web API, CRUD operations, basic security, and how to interact with databases. They didn't ask much about design patterns, scaling, performance tuning, or advanced Entity Framework. There were some theory questions, but no actual coding or real problem-solving. We barely discussed system design or architecture.

So at MindTree, the whole process starts with them looking at your resume. If it looks good and you seem to fit, they'll move you forward. Sometimes they have an online test to check your logic and English. Then comes the main technical interview where they really dig into your technical skills, like asking you to code or explain concepts. After that, a manager will chat with you to see how you communicate and solve problems. Finally, HR does a quick interview to see if you're a good fit for the company culture and what your goals are. They might throw in a coding test or group discussion too, depending on the job.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • They asked about oops and core java for the java developer role as a fresher and checked coding skills to write a program.
