The interview process started with some basic fluid mechanics questions. They asked me about the governing equations for heat and mass transfer, and the dimensions for kinematic and dynamic viscosity. Then, the non-technical part involved me talking about my undergraduate thesis project and my capstone project, plus some general behavioral questions about how I'd fit in and contribute to the company.

The interview process was smooth and entirely online. It started with a technical interview, followed by an HR discussion. I received the results about a month later. The offer letter was issued two months before the joining date. We were called to Mumbai.

First, you'll need to apply and send in your resume through L&T's website. They'll then do a quick review to see if you match what they're looking for. If you seem like a good fit, they might move you on to a technical test, which could be a written or online thing, or maybe a direct technical chat. Make sure you brush up on the technical stuff for the job. After that, if you do well on the tech part, they'll probably have you chat with HR or someone who will ask you behavioral questions. This is to see if you'd fit in with the company culture and how you handle different situations at work, like teamwork and solving problems. Then, you'll likely have a more in-depth technical interview with some experts. They'll really dig into your technical knowledge and how you've handled technical challenges before. For some roles, you might also have a chat with a manager to talk about leadership and your decision-making. Finally, if you make it through all the interviews, they'll pick the best candidate and send over a job offer.
