The interview experience was okay, could have been better, but it was pretty average. It was all online and very simple and chill, not too much pressure. First, there was a recruiter call to talk about my background, what I'm interested in, salary expectations, and if I'd be a good fit. Then, I had some technical rounds with coding tests and problem-solving tasks. After that, there was a manager or panel interview to check my problem-solving skills, how I work with others, and if I'd fit into the team and company culture. Finally, if all went well, there was an HR chat about pay, benefits, and when I'd start, before they made an offer.

So first they check your CGPA. Then they ask about your family background and probe for details for about 30 mins. They want to know if you come from a poor economic background so you'll stick around even with low pay and long hours, which you're expected to do. They also ask if anyone in your close family is in the police or legal system, to gauge if you'd retaliate if exploited. Only after that do they start with technical questions, followed by preferences for the specific role.

First, they look at your resume and cover letter to see if you meet the basics. Then, a recruiter or manager gives you a quick call or video chat (like 15-30 mins) to see if you're qualified and interested. They'll talk about your experience, the job, why you want it, and ask about your salary ideas and when you can start.
