First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LandCare.
Account Manager
The interview process started with some straightforward questions, like 'Tell me about a time when XYZ.' The initial recruiter call felt thorough. But after that, things went downhill. The recruiter became unresponsive and didn't schedule the next interview with the hiring manager, and I never heard from them again. I did eventually speak with the hiring manager, and we had a good second interview. In that interview, the hiring manager discussed the specifics of the job, including the expectation of working 12-20 hour shifts during winter to manage subcontractors for sites that can't go down due to snow. I appreciate their transparency about these demands. However, the administrative side, specifically the lack of consistent communication from the recruiter, was a turn-off. If they can't handle the basic communication, I'm concerned about how they'd handle more important tasks.
- Can you share an instance where you had to mend a customer relationship?
Account Manager
I first chatted with a recruiter for an initial screening. Then, I had an in-person interview with a Branch Manager and Market Manager. My third interview was with a Territory Manager.
- Can you talk about your past sales experience?
- What is your knowledge of landscaping and horticulture?
Account Manager
I spoke with four people at LandCare and they were really helpful and friendly. Since I was looking for a job after graduation, they made this interview process really easy and enjoyable. They were very open and shared a lot of valuable insights which made this decision easier.
- What are your career aspirations?
