First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lam Research.
QA Engineer
The interview had 2 rounds - a technical and an HR round. They asked me to introduce myself and then asked questions about projects and things mentioned in my resume. The questions were easy.
- Could you please tell me about your most recent project?
Software Quality Assurance Engineer
I went through 2 rounds for this role. First was an online exam with QA, logical, and technical questions covering STLC, SDLC, OOPs, SQL queries, and the waterfall model. Candidates who passed that then moved on to the interview round. The interviewers were super nice and supportive, asking me about my resume and projects. They gave me plenty of time to think about my answers.
- Questions were mostly from my resume, specifically about my projects, plus some technical questions.
Software QA Engineer
I went to Lam Research in Bangalore via a consultancy, and it was a great experience. The first round was a test with aptitude and logical questions. It wasn't too tough if you have basic knowledge. The second round was a technical interview. The interviewers were friendly and asked basic questions.
- What is Floyd's triangle?
- Can you tell me about your resume?
- What are your thoughts on manual testing?
