The interview started with a call with the hiring manager. Then, I went through several more interviews, some one-on-one, some with multiple interviewers. I also had to do a presentation. The vibe of the interviewers varied – some were pretty chill, while others were a bit more intense. It really just depended on the person.

First there was a 20 minute HR phone call to check if my background was broad enough. Then I had an off-site interview with the department manager to talk about my school projects (or previous work projects if I had experience). After that, I had a half-day on-site which included lunch with colleagues and then 8 half-hour interviews with senior engineers and technical managers. These interviews focused on school projects and team fit. One of these interviews was with HR again, discussing the company structure and benefits. They mentioned a potential final stage: a full-day interview with more engineer conversations and a 45-minute technical review presentation with a 15-minute Q&A.

It started with an online test that wasn't too easy. After that, selected candidates were called to the LAM Bangalore office by Careernet. My first round was a technical interview that lasted about an hour. They asked a lot about my final year project and general electrical knowledge, and it was pretty challenging. Then came the HR round, which was much smoother and lasted around 40 minutes. After that, they collected all my documents and said I'd know the result within 10 days. It's been 8 months now, and I still haven't heard back, which was the worst part. They should have at least given some feedback on the interview, but they don't answer calls or reply to emails.
