Management Trainee
So there were 5 interviews in total, and then I also had 2 separate talks with VPs. They really care about behavior questions and want to see if you can actually do things, not just talk about doing them.
- Looking back at the last 5 years, what would you consider your biggest regret?
Assistant Manager
It was a pretty straightforward process with 3 rounds. Started with HR interviews, then interviews with my direct report and the Head of Department. They also asked me to complete a take-home exercise. It wasn't too difficult if you prepare enough.
- What motivates your interest in this position?
Manager
When you interview, try to pick a story that connects to something about the job you're applying for, as this can make it more meaningful. Think about a time you improved something in a job like this, whether it was something you did alone or something a group did. If you don't have experience in this industry, you can talk about making a personal process better, like a more effective way to study. When you tell your story, explain why you think it's important to really think about how things are done now and how they could be improved. Add details to make your story easy to understand.
- What's your biggest goal in life?
