Customer Experience Specialist
The recruiters moved really fast! I initially got a call about a different position, and the recruiter and I chatted for about an hour. The pay wasn't quite what I wanted, so I asked for a bit to think about it. The very next day, she emailed me back suggesting another role that paid even more! I really appreciated that she prioritized my satisfaction. She then connected me with the recruiter for this new role, and after our phone call, she sent me three customer service scenarios to answer, emphasizing politeness, conciseness, spelling, and attention to detail. Once I submitted my answers, she passed them to the manager. Within a few hours, I got the go-ahead for the next interview with the Customer Service Manager and some Leads. This was a video call on Microsoft Teams, lasting just over 30 minutes, and it went great. Later that day, the recruiter called to say they liked me and wanted me to interview with the Director of Customer Service. That interview was scheduled for two days later. I was impressed by how quickly everything moved, especially compared to other companies. My final interview went well, and I felt a good connection with the manager. She focused on the job requirements and ensuring I understood the expectations. She also addressed my previous six years as a SAHM and how I'd adjust to a set schedule and supervision, which I was eager for. The recruiter called me the same day after that interview with an offer! The whole process took less than two weeks, which was fantastic.
- Could you describe what excellent customer service looks like to you?
- What is your definition of integrity?
- Considering your experience as a stay-at-home mom where you managed your own time and work, how do you anticipate adapting to a structured work schedule and reporting to a supervisor?
Call Center Representative
Applied online and got a call from the HR receptionist for a quick phone screen. Then, they invited me for an in-person interview. When I got there later that week, I had to wait about 30 minutes because the hiring manager was in a meeting. The interview was with another woman who seemed unhappy to be doing it. I tried to stay positive. She even took a text during the interview and asked me to repeat my question. I was told I'd hear back either way but never did. I've tried reaching out with no success. I really wanted this job, but it feels like they didn't care. I doubt she even passed my info along. Very disappointing.
- Can you tell me about a time you resolved an issue, what happened, and what you learned from it?
- What was the approximate daily volume of inbound and outbound calls and emails you handled in your last role?
- In your own words, what does excellent customer service entail?
Customer Experience Specialist
There were 2 interviews, all with people from the Customer Service Department. They asked basic questions about my resume and work experience. The interviews were conducted over Zoom. I also had a writing assignment to test my email communication skills.
- Do you have experience with taking calls or answering emails?
