Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.
Registered Nurse
We had a follow up call, then a zoom meeting, and then an in-person interview. The whole thing was pretty easy but took a while. Everyone was super nice. And hey, free parking in the garage, which is always a plus.
- Can you describe a time you had a difficult interaction with a patient?
Registered Nurse
It was a quick and easy interview process. There were multiple staff members that interviewed me. It sometimes required 2-3 interviews. They asked questions about my resume, experience, and why I wanted to work for the hospital. Overall, it was an easy interview process. I was able to park on site and just got my ticket validated since I was coming in for an interview.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you elaborate on your background and experience?
- What are your motivations for seeking employment at this hospital?
Registered Nurse
Had one in-person interview. The staff was really insightful and it felt like a conversation. Very professional. The questions were pretty much all behavioral, like 'tell me a time when...', so it's good to have clinical experiences ready.
- Can you share an instance where you exceeded expectations to help someone?
