Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LabWare.
Consultant
The interview process is not transparent; sometimes it moves forward, and then there are weeks without feedback, so you don't know if you're still in the process or not. The first interview asks very personal questions, including family-related questions and information that I don't think is relevant for choosing a candidate; the subsequent interview doesn't have personal questions but random questions that don't make sense in relation to the role. I think they are to see the person's reasoning, but they don't seem to achieve that objective. In salary negotiations, they give the impression of negotiating for the best candidate at the lowest possible salary.
- If you had to eliminate a state in Brazil, which one would it be?
- Tell me about your relationship with your mother.
Consultant Assistant
After submitting my CV, the entire process took place online via video calls or assessment platforms. The recruiter reached out, and we had a comfortable initial chat. Following that, I was asked to record a short introductory video. Then, I completed a series of tests covering programming logic and English proficiency, followed by an attention test. Later, I had an interview with a Senior team member where we reviewed my background and they asked some logic questions, which, although unexpected, were quite insightful for assessing logical reasoning skills. In the same week, another meeting was scheduled with the manager of the department I was applying for; this was a more challenging stage that really put me to the test. Ultimately, I received a positive outcome regarding my hiring.
