Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LabVantage.
Software Engineer
It was an on-campus drive for me. They ask questions based on the candidate's preferred technical skill and about their projects. For us, the first step was resume shortlisting, then an aptitude test, and then the interview, technical, and HR interview all happened on the same day.
- Tell me about your preferred technical skills.
- Can you discuss your projects?
- Questions about arrays.
Software Engineer
The interview process was nice and there were 2 persons in my panel. They were too free to us and asked basic data structure and database questions but then they started to ask question from java advanced which i was not familiar.
- Can you explain the difference between an array of pointers and a pointer of an array?
Software Engineer
The interview process was easier than most. They asked basic questions about Java and general programming concepts, like the difference between for loops and while loops. Most of the interview consisted of behavioral questions with very little focus on actual programming.
- Can you explain the difference between a compiled language and an interpreted language?
