Sales Representative
My friend who works there got my resume seen quickly. I first spoke with a screener and they said I could move on. Then I interviewed with a manager, since there wasn't one for the territory I was applying for. She did such a good job selling the role to me that I didn't even need to try and sell myself. She told me I'd be meeting with her manager next. Three days later, I got a really basic rejection email. I asked the recruiter why I was rejected even though the manager said I was moving forward, but they gave me a really vague answer. I asked again for more details, but they never replied. The hiring manager told my friend she didn't know why I was rejected, and she had actually approved me to meet her manager. My friend tried to find out why I was rejected but couldn't get a clear answer. I think it's awful that I never got a real explanation, especially since my referral had already put in a good word for me.

- Were there any unusual questions during the interview process?
Inside Sales Representative
The interview process was really fast and efficient overall. I got an offer two weeks after applying. It started with an HR screening, and then there were two or three interviews with upper management, depending on the situation. The questions were challenging, and my final interview had some of the toughest questions I've ever faced. I really liked the process, and everyone I met was super nice.
- Were the questions asked very specific to the role and its functions at Labcorp?
Sales Representative
First I had to do this 30 minute assessment thing. After that, the interview was over the phone. The LabCorp person was kind of vague with their questions, so it was hard to know what they were looking for.
- In what ways do you believe you would be a valuable addition to our company?
