Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Labcorp.

First, a recruiter reached out by email and I had to answer a few initial questions about my background. Then, there was a phone interview, followed by a face-to-face interview with four different people. It was a lot of behavioral questions, and they seemed to be very specific in what they were looking for. The whole interview process lasted about 4 hours, including a 1-hour lunch break. The people I met were great, and I felt like they were looking for particular answers.

Got an email the day after applying to set up a phone chat. It was about 20 mins, mostly just talking about what I've done before, why I applied, and if I was a good fit. Then, about half an hour later, the hiring manager sent some study questions asking for more specifics about my background for the role. I sent them back and didn't hear anything else, so I guess my experience wasn't quite what they were looking for.
- What are your thoughts on animal testing, and have you supported animal rights organizations?
- Tell me about your previous work history.
- Why are you interested in this position?

The on-site interview was about 5.5 hours long and took place in a conference room. I had interviews with groups of 2-5 people from the department who switched out every hour. I also had one-on-one meetings with the manager and higher-ups. The interviews included standard STAR format questions and technical questions about my past research and experience with relevant techniques.
- Describe a situation where you had a conflict with a coworker and how you resolved it.
