I had 3 interviews total. First, I spoke with HR for a general chat about my background and why I'm interested in Labatt. Then, I had two interviews with the brand team where we delved into marketing topics, including campaigns, how to gauge success, and a hypothetical situation where I had to act as a brand manager.

I applied by uploading my resume, cover letter, and transcript online. After that, I received an online logic test and a culture assessment. Once I passed those, a recruiter from Labatt's hiring agency reached out to schedule an interview. The interview itself was with a recruiter and a marketing person. They also sent me a case study 48 hours beforehand, which I prepared a 3-minute presentation on, followed by a 2-minute Q&A.

So the interview started with me doing a bunch of personality tests and filling out applications. It was a lot of repetitive paperwork, like they didn't have my resume or something. The personality tests were standard, just picking words that describe me. After about 30 minutes of that and waiting, the interviewer brought me into her office. I had to bring my college transcript, and she looked at every single class I ever took, even questioning the ones where I didn't get good grades, mostly science classes which I'm not great at. Then she went through my resume, asking about my college extracurriculars and what was hard about them. After that, she covered all my past jobs, asking why I liked and disliked them. Honestly, the interviewer seemed to have no personality and wasn't very interactive. She just read questions from a paper and didn't respond to my answers. I don't expect to be best friends, but some feedback would've been nice. It was a really awkward situation. I didn't get a second interview, so maybe they knew I wasn't a good fit from the start. Either way, I left feeling confused and annoyed.
